WOW Rotherham 2024 Festival

Delighted to have been invited to join the WOW Rotherham Festival on 11 May 2024.

The WOW Rotherham festival is a vibrant, colourful, bold, fun, and fearless festival celebration of women, girls, trans and non-binary communities, connecting Rotherham to other women and girls across the globe as part of the WOW – Women of the World family. Their theme this year is around fashion and sustainability and overall body-confidence, so I was delighted to be asked to get involved.

There is a whole host of activities planned in the town centre of Rotherham and if you’re familiar with the old Dorothy Perkins building – head there!

Colour Analysis Taster Sessions

I’ll be there between 12pm and 3pm providing 10 minute Colour Analysis Taster sessions.

If you want to learn how wearing colour can make you look younger and healthier, you’ll gain an insight into my colour analysis consultations and see how impactful it can be when you choose the right colours! Clothes Swap

Bring along 10 items to the Rotherham Central Community Hub (Formerly Burtons/Topman) between 11am and 3.30pm to take part in the clothes swap event. Which will be handy if you’ve booked your slot with me so you swap out some of your clothes which aren’t quite the right colours for you! Run by Thread Republic.

NEW Spring/Summer 2024 Colour & Trend Seasonal Update Workshop

Sunnier days are coming, so I’m busy behind the scenes with my ‘Seasonal Updates’ to help you get your wardrobe ready for the next season.

I don’t believe in being a slave to fashion as trends do come and go. That said, colours change every season, so it’s the perfect opportunity to switch up your wardrobe. (Especially when you understand what suits you!).

Learning how to adapt these new colours and trends will help you create new outfits so you feel up-to-date rather than ‘fashionable’.

The spring/summer workshop takes place on the first Saturday of April (and October for Autumn/Winter). But, the new colour and trend guides are available from 1 April. Anyone registered on the wait list will receive discounted access to the guides prior to launch each season.

When is the Spring/Summer 24 workshop?

Saturday 6 April.

What time is it?

Starting at 12pm UK time, lasting 90 minutes.

Where is it held?

The workshop takes place online, via zoom. Once registered, you’ll receive a link to join the event online at 12pm.

What’s covered?

This season, I’ve got seven colours to share with you for each of the six dominant colouring types and 12 trends. I’ll share the Pantone colours from London Fashion Week which will be coded by colour types giving you even more colours to choose from!

Along with the trending colours and styles, you’ll also see examples of where you can find them too. You can expect me to raid my wardrobe again as I check these ‘new’ trends and show you how to style what you’ve already got. How many ‘new’ outfits can you make from things you already have lurking in your wardrobe??

Let me inspire you and guide you so that you can make informed choices on what suits you and help you shop with intention.

Do I have to know my colour type/style/shape/been to TLC Style & Colour to join the event?

Not at all! These workshops are open to everyone to find out the latest seasonal colours and styles to try out yourself.

£19.50 per person. This includes a link to join the live event and you’ll receive a summary of the colours and trends, a shopping guide, wardrobe checklist and discount voucher after the workshop.

Will it be recorded?

NEW 2024 Mini Colour Analysis Taster Workshops

Delighted to have been invited back to Rivers MEET Cafe in Methley to hold more group colour workshops for 2024!

Rivers MEET is a traditional craft cafe run by Jo and her team. They serve delicious home-made food, refreshments and cakes together with regular craft events, WI meetings and sewing classes in the function room downstairs. The lighting is great and this craft room is where the mini colour taster workshops are held.

If you keep putting things on and taking them off again because they don’t look right, this workshop is for you! These ‘taster’ sessions are a great way to experience the magic of what’s involved in colour analysis.

Discover the power of colour and how it can enhance your personal style and confidence.

You’ll be guided through a fun and interactive session, gaining an insight into the impact of colour on your overall appearance. Learn how wearing the colours that flatter your natural features will make you shine. Get tips on wearing your new colours with confidence as you learn your core colour type. Back for Autumn is my ‘what to wear’ workshop where I share tips on navigating the colour and style trends for the coming season.

Whilst my mantra remains the same: just because it‘s in the shops, fashionable or on trend does not mean it will work for YOU and that’s OK!

Instead, I’ve done the hard work for you by searching and sharing what you can expect with tips on how to wear them.

These seasonal updates have been running for years now. Get some inspiration and guidance on updating your wardrobe. A new season is the perfect opportunity to reignite it after all!

THE AUTUMN/WINTER WHAT TO WEAR WORKSHOP

If you’re not familiar with this workshop, it takes place online every year on the first Saturday of October. It’s then repeated six months later for the spring and summer trends on the first Saturday of April. 

Whether you’ve had your colours or style analysed before or not, these workshops are an opportunity to find out what the latest colours and styles are.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

There’s no travelling and you’ll join from the comfort of your own home! So, book your ticket, grab a brew and a notepad and log into the live event!

I’ll share what’s in the shops and most importantly, what to look for and if the colours and styles will suit you!

It’s not about buy, buy, buy! It’s encouraging you to understand how can you be more sustainable with your choices whilst also bringing what you already have up to date.

This virtual event lasts around 90 minutes. You’ll learn the key colours, styles and trends this autumn and winter with a presentation I’ve prepared. Don’t worry – it’s not death by powerpoint as I’ll also share some of my top picks from the high street too.

To inspire you to check your own wardrobe, I’ll also share items from my wardrobe which tick off the new ‘trends’ you’ll hear about.

WHEN

The Autumn/Winter 2023 event is on Saturday 7 October at 2pm. For reference, the Spring/Summer workshop takes place on the first Saturday of April (6th April 2024). Advance tickets will be available as soon as this event ends!

On Saturday 23 September, I’ll be returning to introduce a small group of ladies to a colourful new world!

Everyone really can wear colour, but not every shade of colour will suit you the same. I’m sure if you keep putting things on and taking them off again that you’ve found this to be true!

During this workshop, I’ll introduce you and you’ll experience a ‘taster’ of my colour analysis consultations. You’ll learn about the core colouring types I work with using the tonal colour analysis system I use and which you are. I’ll also share a few tips on how to wear your new colours with confidence.

Each person will take away their own colour card handout. This includes eight shades from the core palette so you can begin your new journey into colour straight away!

For those attending, you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase a set of 30 fabric colour swatches for your colouring type at a discounted price.

Makeup masterclass – new workshop

A little makeup in the right colours applied in the right way can make such a difference!

This is a hands-on workshop which I will guide you on applying simple and flattering makeup so you can feel your very best.

You’ll be sampling the cruelty free range of Colour me Beautiful products. These will be available to buy should you wish to recreate the same look at home too.

During the workshop, you’ll work through a tutorial sheet and take away your own personalised list of makeup shades.

There are two dates to choose from and places are limited to just five ladies. Each workshop starts at 10:30am and lasts 2 hours. Tickets cost £25 per person. Refreshments are included together with the use of disposable applicators/brushes which you are welcome to take home with you to re-use again.

I am excited to announce the launch of the new on-demand seasonal masterclass!

It’s not always possible to attend my live group workshops or to record them.

That’s why, these on-demand masterclasses are available! They go through the detail of the latest colour and style trends you can expect to find in the current season.

To help reduce the overwhelm, I’m back again with my seasonal update to help you decipher what you’re going to buy (if anything) and how to work with what you’ve already got.

This time round, I’ll be offering an in-person session at TLC HQ in the morning at 10am and a virtual session in the afternoon at 2pm.

An afternoon of fun and fashion with The Style Attic

I am delighted that I’ve been invited along to share some tips at The Style Attic summer soiree this month.

The Style Attic  are a women’s boutique in Leeds and I remember meeting Leigh who runs it with her sister and mum many years ago (when it was literally in the attic of her house!).

The event is a celebration of fun and fashion and raising money for The Leeds Teaching Hospitals neonatal unit.

It is a ticket only event and I’ll have a giveaway on the day but I’ll share on social media too in case you can’t make the event.

If you’ve had a wander round the shops you’ll notice the new trends appearing. With a new season is approaching; how do you know that what you’re going to buy will suit you and get your money’s worth?

Introducing the Spring/Summer What to wear workshop!

This workshop will guide you on what to wear! Don’t get sucked into making (more) shopping mistakes. Just because it‘s in the shops, fashionable or on trend does not mean it will work for YOU – and that’s ok.

What’s involved?

Let Toni make sense of it all during this virtual workshop lasting around 90 minutes with a Spring/Summer 2022 presentation and her top picks from the shops. You’ll hear about what’s available and if they’ll suit you! Toni will have some examples to show you which she’s found in the shops.

Don’t forget to check what you’ve already got lurking in the back of your wardrobe as Toni will demonstrate how to do this.

All this helps to guide you on making the right buying choices so you can feel good in what you wear!

Let me introduce you to the world of Colour me Beautiful! I’ll explain how we assess your colouring and how you can begin to wear colour with confidence.
During this mini colour session, you’ll learn which of our six main colour types you fall into based upon an assessment of your physical characteristics. Everyone can wear colour, it’s simply about finding the right shade which compliments you the best.
You’ll take away your own colour card handout which includes eight of the shades from your palette allowing you to get started straight away on your new colourful journey.
